A townhome is like a hybrid home. You traditionally own the land your unit is on but there is an association that will provide common maintenance and upkeep. Most townhomes are connected to each other, so some think they are condominiums.
Like condominiums, you will normally have an association board and group of directors that will “manage” the association. What you own building wise, is normally vastly different from a condominium.
That being said, the insurance you need – or have to have – is more like a standalone home than a condominium. We can help you figure these things out.
